Is anyone else getting one IP address hitting their tracks every hour for days. For me its an IP address from Japan that hits the same track like clockwork every hour. It goes on for days unless I change my login username, which seems to break the lock.
Is it some kind of bot? or a real person?
I haven’t experienced this…yet. Let’s hope it’s an actual person that likes our songs well enough they are trying to get us more air play.
Same time every hour… sounds more like a bot. Can’t figure out the point of it, unless its a playlist somewhere, but others on Alonetone must be getting the same hits. I’ve just kept changing my login name, which cuts it off.

No, I’m still clueless. Its not happened for a while, maybe it was AI or some social media thing. I’m happy being clueless.
Yeah. Just now. I just checked in after a couple weeks and noticed consistent hits from Germany, two days in a row, April 1 and 2. The whole list but mostly the same four tracks. Just saw it. No idea. But I was thinking bots.
We’ve upgraded a lot of our bot infrastructure (again) over the last weeks and have blocked some of these new bots. We should be quicker to identify and remove them in the future (including the listens)
